This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everything you upload, make, export or share with IloClip.
Content you must not upload
- Child sexual abuse material, or any sexualised content involving anyone under 18. We report it to the authorities, remove it and close the account, with no appeal.
- Intimate images of anyone without their consent, including fakes.
- Content that infringes someone else's rights: recordings you do not own or have no permission to use, or that copy others' work without a lawful reason. See the Copyright Policy.
- Content that threatens, harasses or incites violence against people or groups, or praises terrorist attacks.
- Illegal content under the law that applies to you or to the people in the recording.
- Recordings of people made without their knowledge where the law requires consent.
- Content that impersonates a person or organisation to mislead.
Things you must not do
- Use more than one account, or someone else's, to get more free minutes or to get round a limit or a suspension.
- Probe, scan or test our systems for weaknesses, except under a security disclosure arrangement agreed with us in writing.
- Upload malware or files made to attack our systems or other users.
- Scrape the service, overload it, or reach it in ways other than our apps and published interfaces.
- Copy, resell or reverse engineer IloClip.
- Use clips made with IloClip to break the rules of the platforms you post them on.
What we do
When content or an account breaks this policy we may:
- restrict the content, so it cannot be previewed, edited, exported or downloaded;
- remove it;
- suspend features or the account; or
- close the account.
We tell you which rule was broken and why, in a statement of reasons, and how to appeal, unless the law or someone's safety prevents it. You can appeal from the notice in the app. Child sexual abuse material is the exception: it is removed and reported, and the account is closed without appeal.
