These terms are an agreement between you and IloClip ("IloClip", "we", "us"), [registered address to be confirmed]. By creating an account or using IloClip you accept them, together with the Acceptable Use Policy and the Rights Confirmation. Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal data.
1. The service
IloClip turns long recordings into short captioned clips. You upload a recording; we transcribe it, suggest the strongest moments, frame them for the shape you choose and add captions, which you can edit and export.
Transcripts, captions, translations, titles and clip suggestions are made with automated systems, including artificial intelligence. They can contain mistakes. Check every clip before you publish it. We do not promise views, reach, engagement or any other result from your clips; any score we show is an estimate.
During the closed beta some features are labelled "Beta". They may change, and their quality may vary more than the rest of the service.
2. Who can use IloClip
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you use IloClip for a business, you confirm you may accept these terms for it, and "you" includes that business.
3. Your account
- Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password and two-factor codes secret. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us at support@iloclip.com if you think someone else has used your account.
- One person per account. Do not create extra accounts to get more free minutes.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload and what you make with IloClip.
You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process, transcribe, translate, edit, render and display your content, only to provide the service to you and to keep it safe and lawful. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law or for an open legal or safety matter.
We do not use your recordings, transcripts or clips to train artificial intelligence models.
Before each upload you confirm the statements in the Rights Confirmation: that you own the recording or have permission to use it, and that the people in it agreed where the law requires.
5. Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may restrict content, suspend features or close accounts that break it, as described there. When we restrict your content or account we tell you why and how to appeal, unless the law or the safety of others prevents it.
6. Plans, minutes and payment
- Processing uses minutes of source video. Minutes are reserved when a run starts and charged when it finishes; if a run fails because of a problem on our side, the minutes are returned. Cancelling before moments are chosen returns them too.
- The Free plan includes a limited allowance. Paid plans are billed in advance each month in naira or US dollars through our payment provider, Paystack. We never see or store your full card number.
- Prices include tax where it applies, and invoices show it.
- You can cancel a paid plan at any time; it stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and is not refunded for the rest of that period unless the law requires it.
- If a renewal payment fails, you have a short grace period to pay before the plan returns to Free.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; a change applies from your next billing period.
7. How long we keep things
Source recordings and exports are deleted automatically after the period your plan allows, and you can delete them sooner. Details are in the Privacy Notice. Download anything you want to keep.
8. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on IloClip infringes your rights, follow our Copyright Policy. Accounts with three upheld copyright notices are closed.
9. Suspension and closing your account
You can delete your account at any time in your settings; we then delete your data as the Privacy Notice describes. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that puts others at risk, or where the law requires it.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep IloClip available but do not guarantee it will always be. We may change or end features; if we end the service, we will give you reasonable notice to download your clips.
11. Responsibility
IloClip is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost content, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
You are responsible for your content and how you use your clips, and you will compensate us for claims caused by content you had no right to upload.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we tell you in advance and ask you to accept the new version before you continue.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without taking away any protection the law of your country of residence gives you as a consumer. [Governing law and venue to be confirmed by counsel.]
